This classic isn’t just a story – it’s an escape into a world where curiosity is the key and the weird is just around the corner. For dreamers and adventurers of all ages, this lovely book will have you wondering, What if Wonderland is closer than you think? Get ready to be utterly enchanted.”
Sneak Peek
Alas! It was too late to wish that! She went on growing and growing and very soon had to kneel down on the floor; in another minute there was not even room for this, and she tried the effect of lying down with one elbow against the door, and the other arm curled round her head. Still, she went on growing, and, as a last resource, she put one arm out of the window and one foot up the chimney and said to herself, “Now I can do no more, whatever happens. What will become of me?”
Synopsis
Alice, a curious little girl, sees a White Rabbit with a pocket watch and follows him down a rabbit hole into a fantastical world. Her adventures start in a strange room where she drinks a potion that makes her shrink and eats a cake that makes her grow enormous. She struggles with her size and swims through her own tears and meets a cast of zany characters who engage in a nonsensical “Caucus Race.”.
Later she meets the Queen of Hearts in her crazy croquet court, where hedgehogs are balls and flamingos are mallets. Along the way she meets the Cheshire Cat, the Duchess, a Gryphon, and a Mock Turtle, each adding to the absurdity of Wonderland. At the Queen’s trial, she grows in confidence and starts to call out the nonsense of it all until a swarm of cards overwhelms her…
